Release Me was started back in 2001. Kinda sounds like a long time ago. It first started out on Angelfire. I had no clue what to do as far as designing and I knew very little about HTML. But I wanted my message across about Hauntings. I also started Release Me for mainly one group of people.

Which is funny, there was a show on MTV called "Fear" it started out so interesting. We had a group of people who called ourselves the"Fear Family" which was myself, DarkWolf, KnightGun, Banshee, Vamp and Jeep. Sorry if I am forgetting anyone here... It has been so long. MTV was getting really loopy with Fear and the forum as a whole. So we needed somewhere to hang out. I was starting my trip into HTML and coding, so I figured I would make us a site.

Since then the family has sort of broken up and we've been lead astray. I miss you guys if you ever come by here again, you are my reason for all this and I thank you. But you created a monster!

So I got better and better with graphics, HTML and any sort of coding I looked at, I learned. I learned it all myself, never taught. I movedRelease Me to a nice guy name Nate's server. No, haven't forgotten Nate either. He was into the Denver Juggalos and found Release Me becauseof Ridge Home. He hosted Release Me for free for quite sometime but I felt so bad becuase Release Me was killing his bandwidth. So I moved it to my own server, which I still own.

A big part of Release Me has always been Ridge Home and my love for abandoned places. So I finally opened an Abandoned Places section on Release Me. I got really into it and decided it too needed it's own website so you can now find that at Defunct Playgrounds.

You will never know how many emails I get on Release Me and some of the info being wrong. It is not that I like this site being wrong, or want it to be. But I can't research all these hauntings and places of the hauntings fast enough. I do have a life outside this site. Yeah I wish I couldjust sit on my ass all day and work on Release Me and do nothing else but then I would end up probably either really overweight or reallyskinny. Depending if I ever get up to eat or if someone brings me food. Haha. I'd end up quite lonely and my husband would probably leave me...I'd end up with two boys running a muck all over the place doing God only knows what. Get the point? I will try to change what iswrong with the site. But you also have to realize if you write me, say you know all about the place, and give me info, I can't just go off yourword. You could be one of the few people in the world who can't lie and you may be a wonderful person, but I can't believe you from an email. Let's face it, I don't know you.

Release Me has become so much more than I ever thought it would be. People never gave up on me or this site so I will never give upon it or you! Thank you all for your submissions, YOU make Release Me as big as it is today.
