Question #1:
Years ago there was a mental hospital located on this road. It is now a deserted building. Hundreds of mental patients are said to have escaped from there and killed in the woods surrounding it. If you travel back to Toad Road, you go through seven gates known to locals as "The Seven Gates of Hell." No one has ever been through the fifth gate. Everyone who makes it to the gates hear noises and see weird things moving in the woods. This is the story of toad road. I don't know if it is real or not. The only other information i came up with is that is suppose to be off of cordorus furnace rd or near the cordorus furnace. Maybe this will help in your search. Thanks again for your time and cooperation.

Question #2:
I have heard that a supposed haunted assylum is located off of toad road in york, pa nicknamed the "7 gates of hell". I was wondering if anyone actually knows if this exists or where it is truly located. If you know, please email me.

Quesiton #3:

I grew up within a few miles of toad road, it is no longer a road at all, allthough there was never a mental hospital there, quite a few strange things happened there, in the early 70's bigfoot was thought to have been there hunters from all over the world flocked to search the nearyby woods known as Condoors, miles and miles of thick woodland, there were also several people that hung themselves in theese same woods, it is near the old furnace, we use to park there and walk to find the gates, 13 of us went through years and years ago, although we seemed to not walk very far into those woods we went very far or at least it seemed, we did hear noises and strange things happened, watches stopped, weird lights we thought we were only there about a half hour and decided to return, when we finally got back out to the hard road over 4 hours had lapsed, we all took off never to return to those woods again, there was also a lumber mill adjecent to toad road where many accidents occured, check the local newspapers at the martin memorial libray, they have them on microfish you will be amazed, although if you ask any of the oldtimers or locals you are more than likely to get the cold shoulder, if you want more info email me back, post this for all to see, if you do decide to check this out you have bigger balls than we all did back then,

Answer #2:
Found by: Alexandria Toad Rd. is just a nickname. The real name of it is "Trout Run Rd.". I drove over 300 miles and did property background searches and death indexes. There never was a mental hospital there. It was only a little building, that no longer exists. No body was killed there, nor any suicides were performed. I interviewed locals and they said they are sick and tired of people coming there for this. Its only a "faux" ghost tale that someone made up and now, just like whisper down the alley, people believe its true. Sorry to tell everyone, it's not. No evp's, no orbs, no motion...nothing. Don't waste your time. There are in fact gates, but they are put up by the State Game Commission. I'm sure the State Game commission aren't in on the portals of hell!! If you want a terror of your life...do some research on Gordon, PA. They say it's the whole road...it's not. It's a little unmarked dead end trail that you drive back. You feel the evil.
