Question #1:
In Bargersville, IN there is a place called Podunk where wierd and unusual things happen. Some people say that they do animal sacrfices there and there's some kind of haunted bridge. If anyone has anymore details about Podunk in Bargersvile, IN, please get back to me.

Question #2:
how do you get to podunk indiana outside of bargersville

Answer #1:
Found By: Killer Paz - Podunk is a place of great mystery in Indiana. There are many misconceptions on where exactly it is located, and what exactly one might find there. Many teenagers go to the wrong place, a rural areas southwest of Bargersville. Although very seculded in the woods, the place they go isn't really THE Podunk, this is just land owned by people who are very aggrivated when children come out to Brians Cemetary, or an old run down abbonded house. The real Podunk lies roughly 20 miles south of this place.

Real Podunk is a very dark secluded place. There are twisting dirt roads that wind around hills, and heavy foresation all around. There is a bridge that marks the enterance to the haunted part. Parking on this bridge they say you can hear a baby or child crying out from the woods surrounding you. Continuing on, things get more and more strange. You often see decapitated deer, dogs, cats, or other animals, and other such scary stuff. If you know the area well you will eventually find a road that is blocked off with a gate and a No Tresspassing sign. Going past it, there is a relativly large open field leading uphill to a large Victorian style house. This house is run down, and appears ackwardly located: in the middle of the forest. The trees have grown all around the house now, and some times even through it.

My uncle and his buddies told a story that once when they vistied Podunk their car completly died. The lights wouldn't come on, the car was 100% dead. Since they took 2 vehicles, they decided to get out and explore. They said they saw something shoot across the tree line, and a tree fell cut cleanly in half. They heard no noise, no sound of the tree being cut by anything, and none of them could see the 'flash' they saw rush by. Before even getting in the house, they heard strange noises and saw "foo-lights" or other weird things that scared them away. They all left in their friends pickup truck, and had the dead car towed out the next day. The entire electrical system of the car was fused together and ruined.

What is the mystery of Podunk? A common legend is that there are five "places of power" in Indiana, if looked at on a map these 5 locations make an inverted 5 point star. At the dead center of this star is Podunk. WARNINGS: Podunk is NOT safe. The threat isn't ghosts or whatever supernatural stuff is going on, the threat is people. Many explorations into Podunk end abruptly with hicks firing shotguns at their car. Satanist Cults sometimes frequent the area, and are very hostile to strangers stumbling upon their dark rituals. The place is a death trap, its very rare that you can actually complete a voyage into Podunk and go in "the house". They say if you make it, the house is the most bizzare part of the whole experience. We have never been inside it to this day.

DIRECTIONS: "True" Podunk is very hard to find...however "False Podunk" where you can hear some weird things, but nothing really special isn't that tricky to find. Go south on State Road 135, past Bargersville. Turn west on Divison Road (you'll see a sign that says UNION ELEMNATRY SCHOOL before it). Now just follow Divison straight as long as you can. It eventually degrades from a paved road to a twisting narrow road. Stay on it without turning off at all. When it comes to a "T" take the left path. Just keep going straight, at this point you've pretty much left civilization behind you. You'll eventually come to the place where "Podock road" and Dillman meet. This is the Fake Podunk. Alot of kids have been arrested for snooping around there. From this point just explore. The Real Podunk is about 20 miles south of where you'll end up...it is VERY VERY hard to find, and im afraid this is all the help i can give.

Answer #1:
Found By: B Leszczy -
The so-called real podunk is exactly west of Browns County State Park off of Bond Cemetery Road. The whole area is a wilderness where all kinds of craziness can happen. The area was avoided by colonial settlers for some reason, hence, it was made a state park instead of turned into a thriving community.
