You know most (ghost sories) usually begin with the basic old houses,schools,graveyards etc. Mine begins when I went camping two years ago. My mom owned about two hundred acres of land (which mostly pastures) One summer morning I decided to go camping. "You stay close" my mother had said. I didn't want to listen so I wandered off maybe a mile or so away from home to an old barn two sory barn that had probally been there as long as earth. That whole day I stayed busy on the second floor cleaning up and preparing for that night with nature... Well I thought it would just be nature.

With nothing but a flashlight,a wool blanket,and the clothes i was wearing I settled in. It wasn't too long before i dosed off in to a deep comfortable sleep. Sometime around three or so I was wakened by a screeching sound. Slowly i turned facing outward to the moonlight sky that was suddenly blocked by a massive shadow blocking the light from the moon. My heart droped as I closed my eyes breathing only when i had to. I layed there in that posistion until suddenly the moonlight cames back into the dark building. Quickly I stood looking around every direction but up (the direction i shoul have looked) after about ten minutes i figured it was my imagination, but why risk it i gathered my stuff put my flashlight on high beam and started down the side of the barn since a tractor was blocking the front entrance.

Swiftly running trough the trees i tripped but when i stood up and looked around there was nothing there. More scared than i was before i ran even faster until i seen the yard light coming into view. Feeling relieved i ran up the steps to my house checking behind me (once again the wrong direction to look)As i went for the door a little girl appeared wearing a dress from maybe colonial times and had her hair pulled up in a white bonett. "hello, IS Elizabeth after you too". with that she faded away. I ran into my house and laid in my bed thinking of what just happened. now here i am 2 years later thankful to be alive. I never told anyone what happened that night and I never will.
