For the past two years I worked as an RA at the University of Colorado in Boulder. This past semester I was assigned to Cockerell Hall. I was alone in the hall while moving in during Christmas break. I mean being in a building all by yourself is a little eerie anyway so I didn't make to big a deal out of it. However, on the second night I was crossing the hall to the bathroom and noticed something at the end of the hall. When I turned to look, it disappeared. This proceeded for the next couple of days. I never really got a direct look but from what my peripheral told me the object appeared to be a women with long brown hair staring at me from the end of the hall. But I have an imagination so I didn't make much of it. A month later, I was talking with some other RA's and they asked me if I had seen the ghost in Cockerell yet. They said it was a woman with long brown hair. Now that couldn't have been a coinsidence. Throughout the year, many of my residence felt cold spots in their rooms and in many cases they could not sleep at night. I did some research to see if anyone had ever died their but I could not find anything on that hall. So at the end of the year when all the residents were gone for the year, I was again all alone for a couple of days. It always seemed to me that when every one would leave the "ghost" would come out more. Well, when all the residents leave all the rooms are arranged the same. All very cleanly. It was my job to search all the rooms and make sure this was done. And it had been until I came home in the eveing and saw that one of the room's light was on. When I looked inside all the furniture had been re-arranged in the middle of the room. Why would anyone have done that and how could they have gotten in the building because all the locks had just been changed that day? My girlfriend and I were playing chess that night and she said she kept hearing weird noises. I had shown her the room that had been previously strewn about and we were both feeling weird. Anyway we went to go check it out and found 4 more rooms disorganized, but no people in sight. The next day I had asked my hall director if she could explain why the rooms were disorganized and she said the only explanation would have to be some kids who somehow got in and did it for no reason. No housekeeping crews were working yet. But I am pretty sure Jen and I would have heard voices or moving of large pieces of furniture. What do you think?
